28 March 2014 | APCOA PARKING (UK) has scooped its largest contract since 2010, after being awarded a triple services’ contract at Heathrow.
From 1 April 2014, APCOA’s UK Airport Services’ team at Heathrow will manage Heathrow Airport Limited’s (HAL) prestigious ‘Associated Services’ contract, which comprises 12 staff car parks, as well as all coach and taxi (black cab) feeder parks.
The five-year contract marks both an important and exciting time for the UK business, and as well as the Group’s vision ‘To Be The First Choice In Parking’ and deliver innovative solutions.
The new ‘Associated Services’ contract will enhance APCOA’s existing products and services’ portfolio at Heathrow. It will also give rise to new technical and operational innovations.
Currently, APCOA manages all short stay, long stay, and business car parking at Heathrow Airport terminals 1, 3 ,4 and 5, with its operation at Terminal 2 due to go live in June 2014.
