25 March 2014 | APCOA PARKING (UK) has been awarded a new three-year call centre services’ contract for Heathrow Airport.

The new contract, which goes live today (25 March), will see APCOA’s UK customer service centre in Uxbridge, greater London, handle approximately 50,000 pre-booking calls and respond to 14,000 email enquiries each year.  There will also be the ongoing facility for web-chat, as part of the broader service offering.

APCOA’s UK service-hub will manage the pre-booking requirement across five Heathrow Airport Limited (HAL) products, which comprise: Long Stay, Business Parking, Meet & Greet, Valet Parking Short Stay pre-book and executive lounges.

With a pedigree of providing innovative e-solutions to the parking industry, more APCOA agents will be trained to cross-sell, and convert web-chat into web-sales through a range of in-house conversion mechanisms.

APCOA already provides call centre services for Gatwick, Southampton, Aberdeen, Exeter, Liverpool John Lennon and Luton airports.
